Limited Warranty Statement

Thank you for purchasing a Foldlite product. All new Foldlite products come with a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase from an authorized agent.

1. Limited Warranty Conditions

The limited warranty is provided to the original owner only and is not transferable. Warranty registration and proof of purchase will be required for any limited warranty on Foldlite products. Foldlite’s warranty covers only those defects which arise as a result of normal use of the product, and do not apply to any product: (i) which has been repaired or altered unless done or approved by Foldlite; (ii) which has not be maintained in accordance with any operating or handling instructions provided by Foldlite; (iii) which has been altered or damaged by accident; (iv) which has been subjected to unusual physical or electrical stress, misuse, abuse, or negligence or; (v) which has been used other than in accordance with the product operating and handling instructions.

2. Limited Warranty Coverage

Within one year of the date of purchase, if Foldlite receives notice of defect in any Foldlite product which is covered by Foldlite’s warranty, Foldlite shall either repair the defective product or replace with a new or refurbished unit, at Foldlite’s option. Foldlite shall have no obligation to repair or replace until the customer returns the defective product to Foldlite according to the Warranty Procedures outlined below.

3. Warranty Procedure

For the duration of the warranty period, Foldlite will replace or repair defective products. If a product is suspected of being defective, the owner should contact Foldlite’s Customer Service department. A representative will authorize the exchange or repair of the defective item. Products must be shipped on the original or comparable packaging with shipping and insurance charges prepaid in U.S. currency.

4. Limitation of Warranty

Neither Foldlite nor its third party suppliers make any other warranty or condition of any kind whether expressed or implied, with respect to the Foldlite products, and specifically disclaim the implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, satisfactory quality, and fitness for a particular purpose.

5. Limitation of Liability

Except for the limited obligations specifically set forth in the warranty statement, in no event shall Foldlite or its third party suppliers be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory and whether advised of the possibilities of such damages.
Purchase Policies

Terms & Conditions Regarding Your Internet Purchase

Delivery Time ~ 5 – 7 business days is our normal delivery time for shipments within the Continental United States. From time to time circumstances require special consideration, and we do our best to serve individual requests.

Shipping Fees ~ A flat rate of $49.50 is charged for each boat box shipped within the Continental United States. Shipment costs to other destinations are assessed on a case by case basis. 10’ and 12’ craft are shipped in a single box, while all larger craft are shipped in two boxes. Shipping fees for Accessories are assessed in accordance with the shipping program of our shopping cart, and indicated at the time of purchase. At this time we do not ship products within the terms of “C.O.D.”

Order Correction ~ If you wish to make an order correction we prefer that you call us to ensure the change is made in a timely manner. If you send an e-mail, please be sure put “order correction” in the subject line and reference to web order number.

Return Policy ~ Customers can return Foldlite products within 30 days from the date of purchase and receive a full refund, not including shipping cost. Upon receipt and inspection of you order, we request you contact Customer Service, for replacement of product considered damaged or defective. This gives us the opportunity to work with you in a reasonable manner to the satisfaction of all. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and will pay freight on damaged or defective products that are returned in a timely manner.

Restocking Fee ~ We charge a restocking fee on resalable items returned within 30 days, for reasons other that defect, damage or mis-shipment. In such cases a Return Authorization is required. After 30 days, only defective products will be considered for return at no expense to you.
